Whole Blood Technical Product Consultant - Fenwal, Inc.

We currently have an opportunity for a Whole Blood Technical Product Consultant. This position supports development of training programs for Whole Blood and Amicus product lines. Provides clinical/technical support to the North America Sales and Marketing teams in accomplishing sales objectives. Provides specific product training for internal and external customers and supports implementation and utilization as requested.

Responsibilities include:

·Provides clinical and professional expertise to internal and external customers as well as interacts with senior external and internal personnel on significant technical matters, policies and plans often requiring coordination between organizations.
·Assist in the development, design, coordination and implementation of training programs for complete product line.
·Identifies, designs and implements new consulting strategies as dictated by the needs of the marketplace and corporation through collaborates with sales force account team to determine potential sales opportunities and how to accomplish sales objectives in blood centers, hospitals and large national accounts, as it relates to consulting services.
·Facilitates supply utilization, standardization, and optimization through the following activities:
-Developing technical solutions to complex problems
-Data collection
-Data interpretation and analysis
-Problem solving and consensus building
-Task Force facilitation

Requires:

Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree, MT (ASCP),BSN or RN with 3-5 years experience as a Clinical Consultant. Training experience using Educational Processes required.
·Strong working knowledge of transfusion medicine as it relates to all Fenwal Products.
·Strong communication, writing, analytical and problem solving skills required.
·The ability to develop programs and strategies.
·Demonstrate leadership through mentoring clinical consultants and teamwork.
·Strong ability to provide thorough documentation regarding processes, customer interactions and assessments.
·Effective interpersonal skills to work with team members, customers as well as internal and external employees at all levels.
·Knowledge and experience in educational processes required.
·Exceptional follow through with assigned tasks necessary.
·Knowledge of current trends, and regulations in the Blood Banking industry.
·Current knowledge of continuing education provider unit guidelines and compliance criteria as they apply to the provider unit
