We are currently recruiting for the following position:
ADME (Metabolism) Scientist
Responsibilities:
The Scientist will assist and support analytical, in vivo and in vitro functions of pre-clinical drug metabolism studies within requirements of Good Laboratory Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. The Scientist assists Study Directors in study development and data reporting. In addition, the Scientist works closely with technical staff to carry out studies functions and review of data for scientific integrity.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate must possess prior experience with in vivo/in vitro drug metabolism study designs, handling and use of radioisotopes (e.g. 14C and 3H), mass balance and tissue distribution studies, tissue and sample collections, LC/MS/MS, sample oxidation, LSC analysis, and metabolic profiling. BS/MS in a relevant field is required. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are desired as is 2-3 years related industry experience.
Additionally, having the ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice; and having the ability to work under specific time constraints is expected.
