We are looking for a candidate who can work independently on the discovery of novel TLR agonists. The individual will be responsible for development and execution of strategies to select and/or mature novel peptide/protein ligands using phage display and protein evolution technologies. This will include development of discovery/evolution strategies, production of reagents, development of novel assays, execution of screens, and secondary characterization of hits. This is a hands-on bench position. The individual should be creative and have an established record of independent research accomplishments.
Qualifications
1. Ph.D. with a minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience.
2. Experience working in pharmaceutical and/or biotech is desired.
3. Background in immunology, vaccines adjuvants or Toll-like receptors is highly desired.
4. Experience with display and protein evolution technologies and/or structural biology highly desired.
Creative problem solver; high energy, highly motivated hands-on scientist who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced discovery program.
