Position Description
Scientific visionary needed! VP/CSO Immunology
In vitro Diagnostic /Pharmaceutical Exec (PhD or MD) being sought for cutting edge global lab located in the Midwest (generous relo available).
Good potential fits for this position could potentially be CSO lab scientists, VP R&D, R&D Directors, or other high level scientific management related execs.
This is a rare opportunity for a top level position with a global, well funded, fast growing company. IF you are able to relo, will be happy living in the Midwest, and meet the requirements, we would love to talk with you.
Salary: $170-200,000 plus bonus; generous relocation expense available if needed
Minimun Requirements: MD or PhD
Must have at least 10 years of experience managing a high level scientific team (10 years post post doc), in diagnostic biotechnology and or in the pharmaceutical industry.
Publications and patents are required.

In essence, we are looking for the scientific voice of the company
Other Requirements/Duties
• Abililty to develop strategic partnerships related to Biomarkers, Drug Development Research, clinical trials, and diagnostic testing.
• Identifies new technologies, tests, & biomarkers
• Experience in Business Development
• Author manuscripts
• Experience in high level scientific management while maintaining on going scientific responsibilities.
• Savvy and recognition in molecular and cellular immunology
• Strong (absolute must) record of accomplishment documented by publications and patents.
• Experienced in licensing, intellectual property, and deal making.
• Direct Experience in Clinical Trials and Contract Research Organizations
• Assay Development Experience
