Position Description
Staff, train, coach & develop a team of Federal Account Managers. Develop and manage the implementation of strategic and tactical plans for VA, DoD & TRICARE customers to delivery unit sales results while maximizing revenue.
Assist in the negotiation of the FSS contract, master agreement, other VA & DoD agreements & contracts and related federal filings. Oversee the VA/DoD/TRICARE formulary process for BIIB products. Actively call on and serve as point of contact for national VA, DoD and TRICARE leadership and decision makers. Represent BIIB at important federal organizations, coalitions, conventions and meetings. Communicate major federal policy & procedures to appropriate individuals within BIIB and partner companies. Collaborate and communicate with field sales leadership, the MSL team and other internal stake holders to promote sales within the federal market place. Manage and coordinate VA & DoD data sources and processes. Serve as VA/DoD/TRICARE subject matter expert for BIIB
Previous management experience in field/hospital sales or managed markets and/or extensive experience working with VA and Dept of Defense customers.
