Sr Manager, Marketing - Biogen Idec

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to provide marketing support for a portfolio of three late stage development programs in the cardiopulmonary therapeutic area.

Job Responsibilities:
 Support the pre-launch planning activities for a portfolio of three cardiopulmonary products in the heart failure and pulmonary hypertension markets.
- Conduct market analyses and competitive landscape reviews
- Provide product forecasting support
- Plan meeting and events
- Manage agency relationships
 Serve as the commercial lead for pulmonary hypertension new product development
 Conduct business development opportunity assessments

The qualified candidate must have demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence and communicate with internal and external partners.
 Excellent research and analytical capabilities. In particular, strong experience with primary and secondary market research, competitive intelligence and forecasting tools and techniques.
 Understanding of pharmaceutical industry sales and marketing practices and regulations
 Ability to operate effectively on cross-functional teams.
 Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to executives and scientific/ clinical personnel.

Experience Required:
 Minimum of 3-4 years pharmaceutical marketing, consulting or related industry experience
