Position Description
The Harvard Group International, a retained search firm, has been retained to fill a Sales Manager position for our Client. This position is for a Regional Sales Manager. The Client, headquartered in the mid-Atlantic area, is a biotechnology company dedicated to bringing innovative solutions to analytical testing problems using immunoassay-based test kits both for field testing and laboratory use. These products are used extensively for contaminated waste site assessment and remediation, water quality management, food labeling and transgenic crop seed production.
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for the sales execution of the full portfolio of products and services of the company in all markets.
These markets include sales to customers involved in food safety, environmental assessment and testing, water quality and toxicity testing and sales to academia and OEM customers.
The successful candidate must have a B.S. /B.A. with a Technical Discipline in science, biology or chemistry; MBA preferred. A minimum of 5+ years in technical sales roles with diagnostic, immunoassay or biotechnology related companies is required.

Compensation: Salary – $87,500-$100,000 based on experience
Bonus – up to 50% based on Performance
Travel: 50%+
Car Allowance
Work from home office with weekly travel. Home office must be located near major metropolitan airport.
Target areas are San Diego, Denver, Seattle, Boston, Chicago and Washington DC.
