Job Description:
Responsible for oversight of clinical data management activities for entire life cycle of clinical trial. The candidate will work on study start-up activities in our Oncology Therapeutic Areas. Activities in this role will include performing standard data management start-up activity tasks, overseeing Data Management vendors, ensuring data quality, mentoring less experienced staff, representing the data management department on study management teams and participating in department initiatives both internal and external to Data Management.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years Clinical Data Management experience working in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry; experience managing outsourced trials is required, working globally is highly desirable.

Technical/Software Skills:
Experience with Oracle Clinical (paper and RDC) or other clinical data management software. Familiarity with medical coding dictionaries.
General software skills: Lotus Notes, MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, Busines Objects or other reporting tools.

Education:
BS in biological sciences or other medically related field.
