We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Scientist-Immunoassay
Responsibilities: Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
Investigate and design new processes and provide recommendations for the improvement of current departmental processes; assist with assay development and validation in accordance with approved study protocol, SOPs, and GLP guidelines; conduct assays, plan and schedule experiments, including preparation of reagents and test materials; maintain detailed records and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements, MPI Research SOPs and GLP guidelines; assist in writing procedures and develop / revise departmental forms; review for accuracy and organization of studies and departmental data including assisting in preparation for archiving following study protocols and SOPs; maintain and conduct calibration, preventative / routine maintenance, and non-routine maintenance for departmental laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs; oversee and participate in the ttraining of technical staff in departmental procedures.
EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS HIGHLY DESIRED: ELISA, ECL, electrochemiluminescence, immunogenicity, antibody development, immunoassay, immunochemistry, flow cytometry, FACS, MSD, meso scale discovery
Qualifications: Individual must have a BS / MS / HS / GED and 5-12 years of relevant experience.
Additionally, having the ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule which includes, but is not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice; and having the ability to work under specific time restraints is expected.
