Position Description

As the Project Analyst you will join a talented Team within Stratagene – An Agilent Technologies Company. In this role, you will provide project management support for multifunctional teams to facilitate the planning, execution and reporting of life science product development initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
-Coordinating the preparation and tracking of timelines, resources, and budget.
-Developing and maintain project timelines and actively participate in project and resource planning and budgeting
-Ability to facilitate constructive resolution of conflict, track milestones and hit timelines
-Ability to succeed with a moderate level of guidance, to manage time and successfully multi task amongst several initiatives
-Presenting status of project activities to the organization, as needed

Qualifications:
-B.S. or B.A. in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or other related discipline
-3+ years of relevant experience in the life sciences industry (in a manufacturing environment, research laboratory, or project management capacity)
-Experience with new product introduction or project management preferred
-Experience running integrated “System” projects (including reagents/software/hardware) is a plus
-Experience with Microsoft Project, Power Point, and other reporting and tracking tools required
-Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization across various functions (research, development, manufacturing, quality control, marketing) and locations
-Ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities in accordance with business and team needs, excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
-Strong analytical skills
-Ability to influence without direct reporting authority; excellent teamwork skills
-Flexibility, attention to detail and a strong teamwork approach
