Position Objective:
• To identify, develop, manage and deliver global customer centric serum products or services (within an existing product line or market), via the Human Factor (IDEO) methodology; best practice life cycle management and profitability objectives set for the serum business;
• Identifying, evaluating and launching new products or technologies that can ultimately expand our product or services in the serum business;
• Managing the daily serum product portfolio.

Essential Functions:
• Contributes to the successful delivery of products from conception to being on the shelf;
• Champion new product directions: work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction, and use voice of customer research to drive product lifecycle planning;
• Work closely with R&D, operations, commercial teams, marketing, supply chain and third party partners to execute on programs and projects, leading teams, develop strategies to drive customer awareness, adoption, and loyalty for assigned serum products and services;
• Create financial models to analyze data to develop strategic initiatives and tactics to support plans;
• Assist in identifying and writing effective promotional sales tools and marketing pieces for product or service launches;
• Set initial pricing on new products and services;
• Product training;
• Maintain knowledge of the trends and competitive activity relevant to the assigned product or business segment.
• Contributes to the P&L of the serum business;

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline, or the equivalent education and experience are required. Preferred: MBA
• Experience/Understanding in cell culture
• 5 years of Product Management Experience
• Experience in finance or financial modeling
• Experience managing a global product line with close interaction with research and development and operations
•  Willingness to travel up to 30% as required
