Position Description

Agilent Technologies’ Life Science Chemical Analysis Business is looking for a Molecular Biologist / Biochemist to work in our Stratagene Biological Process Improvement group to develop and implement procedures that ensure the successful transfer of products from R&D through the production cycle. This is a bench position where you will bring your diverse experience of molecular biology, cell culture and biochemistry techniques.

Requires:
- (BS/MS) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent
- Minimum three years of laboratory experience
- Proven proficiency in molecular biology techniques including: QPCR, PCR, DNA and RNA purification, mutagenesis, cloning, gel electrophoresis and cell culture.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under limited supervision with research and development and production projects.
- Partners with team to develop, validate, implement and improve biological processes.
- Working with cross functional teams to facilitate launch of new products in a timely manner.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel applications.
