As a Expert Electrical Engineer in the Precision Optics and Assemblies R&D group you will be involved with the design and development of hardware incorporating electronics interfacing lasers and optics. Through your design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and documentation, you will solve a broad range of engineering problems which will transform customer requirements concepts into manufacturable new products.

Specific duties will include: PCB,simulation (verilog and mixed-mode, verification, optimization, place and route, test system development,circuit debug and documentation.

Duties include interfacing with Agilent’s internal and external partners/customers, providing technical consulting and understanding integration requirements.

Eventually you will lead or be key in new product development projects requiring coordination with Production Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, and R&D.


Qualifications:
- MSEE
- At least 5 years experience in mix-signal design
- Experience with high performance RTL and associated verification and debug
- Experience with PCB physical mixed-signal design tools and flows
- Mix-signal (Analog and Digital) circuits
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Real-hands on training in Mix-signal development
- Knowledge of Linux/HP-UX and scripting languages such as TCL, perl, Vee and ksh.
- FPGA Verilog or VHDL
- embedded processor.
