A leading supplier of innovative research technology is the Drug Discovery market is dedicated to the needs of their customers, and they have an opening for a Technical Support Manager in the Bay Area. This specialized manufacturer of tools for Molecular Biology and Genomic research has enjoyed double-digit annual revenue growth for the past several years. They are a high growth, publicly traded organization with a rich product pipeline that has recently launched a number of breakthrough products for gene discovery. If you are scientist that is looking to get off the bench and are ready for management, this is your chance! If you are a Field Application Scientist looking to get off the road, here is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

Responsibilities:
In this high-profile, highly technical role you will manage a team of scientists who are poised to address customers’ needs. While leading this small team, you will be asked to set an example of excellent customer service on the phone where you will address customer concerns. You will then echo those concerns to the representatives in the field and the research and development team. A main duty in this role is to improve the integration customers and the product development division.

Qualifications:
The winning candidate will have a background that includes:
· PhD in Molecular Biology or a closely related field.
· Management Experience
· Service Experience
· Customer centric, excellent communication skills, and technically strong
