Product Manager, Vascular & Cardiac

Additional duties include management of the day-to-day operations of the product center such as forecasting, addressing inquires, and working in cross-functional teams within the organization.
Responsibilities: • Meet/exceed established annual budgets for product center revenue and margins • Analyze markets, identify behaviors and develop/execute marketing plans to accelerate growth of the Vascular and Cardiac business within the LatAm region • Support new product launches and investigate / assess new product opportunities • Ability work independently and in partnership with clinicians to implement clinical education programs to develop new markets, grow market shares and/or maintain market position • Support regional tradeshows and develop advertising campaigns for strategic markets within the region • Identify and establish relationship with key opinion leaders (KOL) across the region to increase product awareness and enhance knowledge of market needs • Develop, implement and manage training programs for clinicians, sales representatives, affiliate marketing personnel and distribution partners • Establish and maintain a consistent communication channel with affiliate offices and partners within the region • Gather all pertinent data, statistics, financial analysis and market information to identify new product growth opportunities for internal/external development • Monitor trends and competitive activity as well as develop a good understanding of the competition’s product offering and strategies in the marketplace • Respond to customer and salesperson questions regarding competition, quality, complaints, and product usage • Work extensively with in-country personnel to assist in setting a strategy, support sales efforts, and to learn more of customer needs • Aid in conducting on-site evaluations for new products, including trips to evaluation locations and in-service presentations to clinicians • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the regulatory / reimbursement environment within the region and its impact on the product portfolio • Establish strong relationship and represent Latin America interests with the respective business units • Assist with the analysis and preparation of tenders • Other duties as assigned
Skill Sets: • Demonstrated strong analytical skills • Excellent communication skills: written and oral • Strong presentation and customer interface skills • Ability to work successfully in a cross functional team and influence others • Spanish and/or Portuguese is a must • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project and internet research • Familiarity with SAP, Business Warehouse, QAD, Oracle or Agile is a plus
Education/Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree. MBA a plus • 5+ years experience in marketing or sales • Experience in Vascular, Cardiac and international markets is strongly preferred • Clinical knowledge is preferred • This position will require international travel, approximately 40% • Must have a passport and be able to obtain necessary Visas
