WuXi NextCODE has added another country to its growing list of large-scale sequencing projects. Sidra Medical and Research Center, which is involved with the Qatar Genome Project, has turned to WuXi NextCODE for help. A whole-genome pilot for 3000 samples supported by WuXi NextCODE is already underway. With the Sidra collaboration and other projects ramping up, WuXi NextCODE is planning to add staff in Massachusetts. The hiring spree could result in its current Boston headcount of 40 tripling.
