Medidata Solutions ($MDSO) has teamed up with Veeva Systems to add electronic trial master file (eTMF) content management to its offering. The partners expect the incorporation of the Veeva eTMF system into Medidata's SaaS offering will speed study startup by cutting IT implementation times. And Medidata is interested in more alliances, with President Glen de Vries saying such partnerships are crucial to expanding its SaaS platform. Press release
