As pharma giants axe jobs in research and other areas all over the U.S. and Europe to trim costs, Pfizer ($PFE) has delivered some upbeat news to employees at its Kent R&D site in the U.K. The pharma giant has decided to keep 650 employees there--or 300 more than expected, the BBC reported.
