The five-year, multidisciplinary Bioinformatics Integration Support Contract (BISC) (No. HHSN272201200028C) was awarded to Northrop Grumman by the NIH National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It has a maximum potential value of $30 million and is a recompete of a contract that the company has held since 2004. "This award underscores Northrop Grumman's continued commitment to help improve the health of people in the U.S. and around the world. Our team will support basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose and treat infectious, immunological and allergic diseases," said Amy Caro, vice president, health IT programs, Northrop Grumman Information Systems.
